Why this practice
We establish where the bite needs to end up, then work backwards through the stages required to get there. Treating tooth by tooth without that plan is how people end up rebuilding twice.
Surgery, implants, crowns, bridges, and cosmetic work handled by three doctors in the same practice. Complex cases fall apart when they are split across offices that never speak.

We treat reconstruction patients from across Midtown Manhattan, Turtle Bay, Sutton Place, Murray Hill and the Upper East Side, from our office on East 55th Street.
The process
A full examination of both arches, the joints, the bite, photographs and a CBCT scan. This appointment is longer than a normal exam because the problem is bigger.
We work out why the bite failed, not only what it looks like now. Wear, grinding, missing teeth, and old work are all part of the picture.
Every stage, in order, with timing and cost. You see the whole path before the first appointment is booked.
Treatment proceeds in the planned sequence, with review appointments built in. Protection against grinding is part of the plan, not an extra.
Insurance and payment
The practice files and tracks claims for you and works to maximise your yearly benefit. Where treatment runs beyond what insurance covers, Sunbit and Cherry financing are available.
Your dentists
A board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a board certified orthodontist, and a restorative and cosmetic dentist, in the same office.
Cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Dental school at UCSF, where he graduated with honors in prosthetic and restorative dentistry, after a physiology degree at UCLA and a general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center. He plans and restores the cosmetic and full arch cases.
Board certified orthodontist, and an injectables and dermal fillers specialist. UCSF dental school, a general practice residency at St Barnabas Hospital, then orthodontic training where she earned the Herzberg award for clinical excellence. She handles clear aligner therapy and interdisciplinary orthodontic cases.
Board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and dental implant specialist. Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, with residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. He teaches at Weill Cornell Medical Center and handles the surgical phase of implant, full arch and reconstruction cases.

It is a combination, not a single procedure. Depending on the case it can involve implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, gum treatment, extractions, and bite management. What ties it together is that the end point is designed first and the stages are sequenced toward it.
Most cases run over several months, and complex ones longer, particularly where implants need time to integrate or grafting is required. The written plan gives you the sequence and the expected timeline before you begin.
Often no. Many reconstructions can be staged so that urgent problems are handled first and the rest follows in phases. Staging also spreads the cost across benefit years, which we will factor into the plan.
Repeated breakage usually points at something structural rather than bad luck, most often grinding, a collapsed bite, or a mouth full of large old restorations that have outlived their span. Finding the cause is the first part of the assessment.
Plans rarely cover the whole thing, but they frequently cover meaningful parts, particularly restorative and surgical components. We estimate the benefit against your plan, file and track claims, and stage treatment across benefit years where that helps.
